I have noticed the last few years that my windows look like they are crystallizing when the sun hits them, they look like they sparkle. Anyone know what causes this and is there something I can do to fix it or stop it.Thanks "Zivio"

Unfortunately ............................

........................ your port lenses are succumbing to the life and death cycle that all acrylic experiences. The main cause of the deterioration is UV radiation.

As the minute cracks are internal, the only solution is to replace the lenses.

If you do decide to go this route, you'll find a large amount of material which has been written on the subject which can be found under the search menu.

But on the positive side of things .................... welcome to the site.

You can significantly extend their life and slow down the deterioration by making sun covers for your ports.

Sunbrella hatch covers, and Sunbrella exterior sunshades for your fixed and opening ports held in place with button snaps.
