I'm curious, how much did they charge you?
Years ago, I saw a Chris Craft sailboat, they made a model for a few years. I liked the boat. Anyhow, they had vinyl shades just like house shades but with 1" wide small vanes. I liked the look, as I had the older cloth shades that closed horizontally.
I went to Home Depot and ordered 12" high(that was the minimum) by what the portal widths were. I think it was three different widths. I removed vanes to best fit them vertically. It came out great & they've been on my boat for twenty years. I believe my cost back then was about $40.00.
I'm asking, as I'm thinking of replacing them & what you have look great.
