This question is geared mainly toward C27 and C30 owners with the newer style windows without the metal trim. I have a leak and would like to rebed the window. What tools did you use to push the window out without breaking it? Are the 4 screws and the caulk the only things holding the newer style window in place? This leak is starting to cause damage to my port settee and storage locker so I need to fix ASAP. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer. I did search the archieve already.

New windows

I removed the old windows with a puddy knife and by pulling string from in side and out side.I replaced my windows with 1/4" bronse plexy glass i cut the windows with a jig saw and sanded the bevel with a belt sander. The glass was about 65 dollers and took 5 hours to stick in .If you dont clean all the silacone off the boat the windows wont stick.I used 202 FG cleaner and a soft wire wheel to clean the FR window jam.Its alot of work to glue in old windows.
