Peek-A-Boo Shutters/Blinds
About 6 or so years ago, I put Peek-a-boo blinds on my Catalina 30 also. We loved them. They dont collect dust like other shades or blinds, are easy to clean and are visually invisable in the sense that they dont make the boat look smaller inside. It was our perfect solution. Back then they gave 1 free sample and I think the whole deal for all of the windows was slightly under $200. When the adhesive failed on one of the windows, I called the company and they sent me a pile of spare adhesive 'dots' and 'handles' at no cost. Real nice people to deal with. I will be putting them up on my new to me old boat shortly. Tony B

If you have original portlights, the patterns will match up well and your bilnds will fit perfectly. It took about 20 minutes to install all of them and most of the time was taken up by peeling the backing off of the small heavy duty velcro tabs!! We have some other products from Zarcor and they are a fantastic company to deal with. There is also a good selection of shades for portlights and hatches in the chandlery here if you want to go with the more traditional style.
