Has anyone installed an anchor windless on a Hunter Legend 35.5. If so which one?

Not me, but a windlass is what you can use when it's windless.

I thought a windless is what you use when you want less wind.

Enough already with the puny puns. I'm not familiar with the anchor locker of a 35.5 but I did install one in an H-310. See if you find anything useful in the attachment below. Also look in the archives for Hunter, windlass, 35.5, and anything else that fits.

My Hunter 326 stock Windlass comes with forward rode dropping and not downward. I understand the Simpson Lawrence base plate is specially made for Hunter Marine boats.

I installed a windlass on my 1996 Hunter 37.5. Before installation I found someone who had installed one on a 35.5 and used that as a guide for my installation. I documented my installation and believe it is posted on the Hunter website. If you do a Google search for a windlass installation Hunter 37.5 I believe my documented install pops up. I took photos and explained my steps and reasoning for each step. I attached pdf copy. Hope this helps.
