Winch Handle
Many (most ??) will have a location to allow a winch handle to be used. Not sure if the one on the 376 has this.

Use Primary Winch
I don't have a windlass, but, if I did and it failed it would be easy enough to put a snatch block on the toe rail, assuming one has an aluminum toe rail, and run the rode aft to one of the primaries. Since the rode is most likely larger than what the tailer is adjusted for it would have to be tailed manually.
