windless installation

has anyone installed a windless on a 1985 28.5 hunter. the manufacture did not offer a windless until around 1990.if anyone has made an attemp to install one . HELP

The 34 wasn't designed for one either. This is

what I did, on the second film strip. Hope it helps,,
