I have just purchased a Hunter 37.5 ,1995 model. The windlass is an Anchorman Power 700 (Simpson- Lawrence). I would like to buy a new anchor and chain for the boat. Can anyone tell me what size chain will fit this windlas or if they have the same model,what they use?

Remove the gypsy by taking out the central allen screw. A Tee bar allen key is supplied with the windlass for this but if you don't have one it is a standard size allen key. Read the code on the face of the gypsy. Provide this info to Lewmar and they should be able to tell you which chain to use. For info SL bought Lewmar some time ago and now all windlasses are handled by Lewmar. This info might also be on their web site
