Windlass Installation h35.5

I am in the process installing a Sprint windlass on my boat and I was wondering if anyone has any input regarding its operation since the anchor roller comes at an angle. Thanks and Good Sailing!!!

Which model and how did you mount it?

I'm looking at the Sprint for my 37.5, which is probably very similar to your boat. Is you's complete inside the anchor locker?I can't get my mind around how to install it.Thanks.

have you checked the archives?

i installed a lofrans low profile windlass on my 89 35.5,(pretty close to the sprint), behind the anchor locker in line with the angled anchor roller, chain feeds down into the locker, everyting works without getting in the way of the hatch. motor acess is through the upper cabnet in the v birth.last year we posted more detailed discriptions, you should be able to find them in the archive section. let me know if you cant.
