Has anyone mounted a windlass and Bow roller on their VEGA? If so could you upload some photos or try to expalin any dificulties you experienced. In particular I am interested in the overall alignment, the chain locker configuration, how the Bow roller was worked into place adjacent to the Forestay, and the distance between the aft end of the bow roller and the windlass, the positioning of the windlass in reference to centerline of the boat. And finally how does the single bow cleat affect the installation? Was this eleiminated and were two cleats installed? If so does anyone know where I could get another original type cleat? The more I know this boat, the more I realize how much I don't know!!!
