Wind Turbines

Anyone have any advice or experiences to share regarding wind power? I'm thinking of going that route as a way to keep my electronics going and my batteries charged. Are the newer models a lot quieter than older models? Any advice is certainly appreciated.

They are fantastic BUT!

Many yachts I deliver have them but they are bloody noisy when the wind begins to blow. So much so that often I tie the prop to stop it from spinning. The screeming noise can be unbearable and certainly upsetting for any crew on board who have not a lot of experiance in 30-50kn winds and 200ml out to sea.
