Wind system to add to existing system

I have a Raymarine ST40 depth instrument, a Raymarine ST40 speed instrument and a e7 multifunction display GPS. I amm looking to add a wind system on my boat; what would be the best instrument to add? Should I go wireless or use the classic systems?

I have the class and would recommend that. The wireless ones have a life of about 3 years I hear.

You don't need the instrument if you get the smart transducer and an adapter cord. Wind info will appear on MFD. Check with Raymarine. The st40 can remain independent ... the MFD will calculate true/apparent with data from transducer and gps. I'd get the cable.....
