Several years back I saw an ad for a seat that sits on top of a winch.

I anybody seen or is using such a seat. Seems like a good idea.

Hmmmm.... obviously not that good of an idea or else it wouldn't have become so obscure. I can't imagine why one would want to sit on top of a winch, is there some advantage I'm missing?
