Hi, I'm replacing the ancient winches on my boat (1972 22) and my winch pads are at about a 30% angle, tilted outward. I wonder if anyone wlse has the same configuration. The old winches are pretty straight on the sides and cause a lot of over-rides. The new Harkins are more hourglass shaped, hopefuly fixing the problem. What was O'Day's thinking on these pad angles or was it a prior owner? Thanks, Gene
