Winch Maintenance

I have a 1987 Hunter 26.5 and would like to service the winches. I am looking for replacement ratchet prawls and springs for my Barlow Winches but am not having any luck. I understand that company has changed over the years; someone mentioned that they became Barient and later became Lewmar. Can I use a Lewmar winch service kit?

Spare parts for Barlow and Barient

Dorian,I had the same problem few months ago and then I discovered a company in Australia that have all spare parts either separately or in kit for most Barient or Barlow whinches.I ordered by E-Mail and got the pieces by mail 8 days later.
