Will Tack Tick T033 work at night?

Will the Tack Tick T033 wind instrument work at night?
It says it has a back light for night sailing, so one would assume so.

How does it work?
Does the solar panel in the mast head unit charge a battery?
How long can you sail on a charge?

I am very happy with mine,

I have used it several times at night but only for about 2 hours without problems, don't know how much it will last,

but know that you put me at doubt, I will test it during the weekend.

The wind transducer and solar powered displays will run for about 300 hours once fully charged, less if you keep the backlight levels turned way up... However, the T033 is the new, lower cost, entry level wind instrument and uses a WIRED display—so as long as you power the display, it should work at night.
