Anyone know if a roller furler and jib from a 19'Mariner will fit my 19 weekender without much trouble?I'd hate to buy it and not have it workable.I haven't gotten precise dimensions yet. Thanks for any help.Barry

I would get the luff dimensions off him first, Barry. Is it a Schaeffer that connects to the Jib Halyard via a swivel and the bow stem plate for the drum? This type of furler has nothing to do with the fore stay. The Jib has a wire in the luff. This set up is OK but if the wind picks up you can't reef the sail.

If it's a CDI with an FF-1 vinyl luff, just get the luff measurement and compare it with your fore stay measurement. You can always cut the vinyl luff to fit your fore stay if you have to. This set up can be reefed. I recommend this brand highly for a small boat. I have one on my 222 with no ball bearings in the drum and it works great for reefing.

Thanks Joe,Not sure of the make but it is the foil type setup.Unfortunately it is too short for my 19.The parts are older so I don't know if I can even find that type of foil. Also included in the deal is the sail which looks to be in great shape but is even smaller than my stock hank on.If anyone needs these parts for their Mariner, looks to be a good deal at 175.00+shipping from NW Ohio.I will forward the info to anyone interested.Barry
