Good washing and a treatment with I.G.

Grove: Give it a good scrub down and purchase an Island Girl Kit. This will get the oxidation off of the gelcoat and then you can seal it and wax it. They now have sealant for the non-skid too.

Also look at Poly Glow

I've also had good luck with Poly Glow. Lasts 6 months on deck areas before a recoat is needed and over a year on the hull (in Florida). It's similar to I.G. in that it's a prep and polish kit. The better the prep the better the final results. To Steve Dion: Have you tried I.G.'s non-skid treatment? Jim h37.5 "Prospect"

shine

This year I tried both the ig products and the poli glow, for me it was hands down poliglow, easy to use and it lasts, I got a ig kit and there are all sorts of different solutions , maybe if I had read allof the directions over the winter the ig, would have beeen better for me, I am sure they are both good product , but the poliglow is simple to use and it does last , and I receive no renumeration for this endorsement, good luck MIke Bacome
