I'll be spending the weekend of Oct 1st up in Seattle due to a work layover and was wondering if someone could suggest a place I might catch a ride on a sailboat. I have sailed all my life and currently own a Hunter 26.5. Anyone have suggestions of marinas or clubs that I could hang my "Will Crew for Food" sign. Just kidding, but I would like to get some sailing in if someone would take pity on a poor landlocked sailor and give him a ride. I'll bring all my own gear. Reword your offer

I'll bet you would get a faster response if you offer to BUY them food (perhaps dinner afterwards) in exchange for a sail on their boat.

Try Shilshole Bay Marina, Everett Marina, Elliott Bay Marina. All are in the Seattle area.
