Width of Transom

I'm trying to order some vinyl lettering, without making an hour long trip down to the boat just to measure the transom. Can anyone give me an idea of how wide the transom is on a 1977 Catalina 30'? I'm guessing it's around 60-70"...Thanks,Gary Call

Hey Gary, I feel luck now, I just tooka 20 second walk out to my boat garage and measured my 1985 C30 for you, it is 70"but at the top there is a vent at about67" but it is only 2" down from bump rail,and 1" dia.Anything else, e-mail me, www.blowinganddrifting@yahoo.comEnjoy, Dean
