A week ago I inquired at the Cleveland boat show how much a new Hunter 410 would be. I would be trading in a 97 Hunter 310. Still have not heard from either dealer, if anyone knows of a responsible dealer in another part of the country let me know. The dealers on Lake Erie do not seem to be interested in sailing new boats.

Can't help it..

I suspect dealers are more interested in SELLING boats than in sailing them... MC

Try Cape Yacht Sales

Try Cape Yacht Sales in Harwichport and Falmouth, Mass. 508-432-7079 (ask for Fred Twombley) or 508-548-7700 ( Ask for JP or Barrett Canfield) They have a 410 in stock that's beautiful!!! I bought a 280 and 380 from them and I'm sure they'd love to deal with you too! From a dealers point of view shipping a boat elsewhere this time of year is one less boat to fit in your commissioning schedule which is already full from last fall and this winter's boat shows. Good luck in your search and I hope this helps. They lent me a 410 last year for three days to test sail (different boat though) and it was beautiful inside and out! Bob Knott H380

Dealers

Joe, Another alternative is Whitneys Marine in Orange Park, Fl, (904-269-0027) and ask for Maura, Linda, or Jim. I am sure they will be happy to help you out. I have purchased a 336 and a 380 from them. Good luck. Paul Bednarzyk S/V Knot Again

Sailboat dealer

I sail with my best friend on his 1998 340 and I'm looking for a good used boat myself. We sail on Kentucky lake an harbor at Lighthouse Landing marina. They have best HUNTER boat sales & service I've seen yet. They have their own website www.lighthouselanding.com/ and have a complete photo section. I hope to buy my first sailboat from them hope you do to.

Call Seacoast Marine

I bought a 340 from Seacoast Marine last summer very knowledgable and helpful group. A small but full service operation. I know the owner personally flew to CA. to meet a boat that was being trucked to commission it. www.seacoastmarine.com Good luck
