Hunter 30T Palm Beach
Greetings all.

Last summer my wife and I purchased a 1993 Hunter 30T and so far we love the boat. However the original owners manual is in poor condition and needs to be replaced. I have searched the web for a down-loadable manual and come up with exactly nothing. I have contacted Hunter and they said that manuals are only available for purchase and via snailmail! Does anyone else find this odd in this day and age? To me it seems a simple task to set the original in my scanner document feeder and push a button. If anyone has an electronic copy I'd be very grateful. If not I will purchase a new copy and scan it myself for others to have available. Oh and yes I did see the files in the resource directory but they are very limited and not of much use.

Cheers

Jim Seaman has them available for many of the boats. Check the Resource Library.

Don't get too excited about owner's manuals. Even on a new boat they're incorrect (specially if the boat is not production boat #1). My #801 built boat had so many incorrect pages and equipment that was never installed at the factory that I just threw them out. What's more important that you collect data on the systems and equipment that you have on the currrent boat. Even the Hunter drawings of where certain wiring ran, plumbing was supposed to be was so inaccurate that it was frustrating. Since buying my H386 when it was about 10 months old, I've gotten rid of the obsolete stuff, added new sheets and have kept three 3-ring binders to file it in. A much better system than Hunter would provide you at your cost.

Thanks to all for the reply's.

I have already begun a new binder on all the various systems. I will however be ordering a new owners manual as well just to have.

Cheers
