Who's going to the sail expo in Chicago?

Anyone planning on going to the expo at the navy pier in feb? I just booked my plane ticket and room. Looking forward to the seminars. I really enjoyed the two I sat thru last year. I thought they would have been boring but was I wrong. Anyhow maybey we can all get together at the expo for a group pic?

I plan on being there, just not sure which days yet. Which seminars did you do? I have never sat in one in the several years that I've been to the show, but was looking at one or two for this year. T J

Pam Wall and Mike Harkers seminars

Pam Wall, who works for west marine in miami does several seminars and I went to the one on cruising the bahamas, which I sail the bahamas last november and used alot of her advice. The other on was Mike Harkers 24000 miles in 11 months or something like that. I don't think he'll be there this year. He bought a new boat and is out cruising the last I heard. I don't go to the seminars you have to pay for. I think most of them are for beginers. I'm not sure which seminars I'll go to this year. I looked on the strictly sail website last night and was looking at them.

The Lake Michigan Hunter Sailing Association members will have a table at the Hunter display area. We solicit new members at Strictly Sail. We will be getting a group together to go out to dinner together Friday and Saturday evenings. If you would like to join us, stop by the table and say "Hi". Most of us are staying at the Holiday Inn City Centre at 300 East Ohio Street. My wife, Marybeth, and I will be at the show Friday through Sunday and will be working the LMHSA booth at Noon on Saturday. We look forward to meeting other Hunter owners.

Free Navy Pier Parking???

How do you figure there is free parking at Navy Pier? Granted they offer a $10 off coupon, but the regular parking rate is $25 for more than 8 hours. Please advise how we can have the remaining $15 free. Thank you.
