So, Bob, what is it?

We've admired ther wishbone rigs, but still don't see many of them around the Bay. Wylie makes them down the coast, but yours looks more like a cruiser. Provide a few details, pls...

Are you sure its not a NonSuch

Freedom's are cat rigged sloops but I have never seen one with a wishbone rig. Nonsuchs all have wishbones don't they. So what is it really?

looks like as Nonsuch to me, but...

...check this link to the Freedom (below) But then Radford makes them down under too.. I'm guessing Franklin is right.

It is a Nonsuch.

Freedom's look a lot like a traditional sloop rig without all of the rigging. The Freedom's also have a jib. We have had a few of these Nonsuch's in our harbor over the years. Very nice boats but also much different than the Freedom.

Nothing else looks like a Nonsuch.

Steve, you are right on the button. Designed by Mark Ellis (my neighbour across Bronte Creek).

I stand corrected

It is a Nonsuch. I looked at the one listed at my marina and it's listed as a Nonsuch. I wonder why the guy told me it was a Freedom. Sorry guys. I can't believe they are asking 68k for it.

Nonsuch 30 Ultra?

Franklin: The Nonsuch 30 Ultra sell for about $80k on the west coast (assuming very good condition). These boats have maintained their resale quite well.

It is indeed a Nonsuch...

...a 30 Classic. It will kill just about anything on a run or reach. While it doesn't work upwind as well as sloop rigs, it isn't as bad as most think. I'm usually outpointed by only a couple of degrees. Nothing like passing a 40 on a reach. Sail: 645 square ft Rig: Cat Standing rigging: Two stainless wire boom hangars Running rigging: LOTS! Sheet: 165' Halyard: 185' Reef 1a: 80' Reef 1b: 135' Reef 2a: 95' Reef 2b: 150' Choker (outhaul equiv): 75' LOA: 30' 4" LWL: 29' Beam: 12' Boom: Wisbone 28.5' Mast: Aluminum light pole Aux: 2004 Volvo MD-2030 Drive: Volvo Saildrive Prop: Seahawk Slipstream stainless folder Acommodations: Sleeps six, full head with shower, propane demand water heater, full galley with range/oven, H/C pressure water, refrigeration, 84 gallon fresh water, 26 gallon waste. I don't think I could ever go back to two-sail sailing. Cheers, Bob

She's a beauty all right!

My wife calls them "doctor's boats". We have a lot of surgeons etc. around here that love to sail and relax. They can do it in comfort (single handed as well)on a Nonsuch.
