If it's only hand tight it is very unlikely that the standing rigging is making the noise. It is much more likely that there is a hole in the mast or a spreader and the wind is whistling over it, just like blowing over the top of a beer bottle.48dodge said:No roller furling and the boom wasn't installed at the time.
