I have tried unsuccessfully to get a response from Hunter as to the appropriate length of whisker pole we need for our 375 sloop using a DRS. Can anyone help us?

Forgive the dumb question, but what's a DRS? I won't be on my boat until Friday, but I can measure my whisker pole then. I'm almost positive it's ten feet long without the extension. Gary Wyngarden S/V Wanderlust h37.5

i have been told by a sailmaker that it should be your J dim for a spinnaker pole and as long as the foot of your biggest jib for a wisker pole. if you use it with a furling jib or more than one jib then you will need an adjustable length pole...

Spinnaker poles are usually "J" Whisker poles should be up to 1.75 X "J" and should be line adjustable for best adjust-ability. The pole length needs to be adjusted as the AWA changes and that becomes nearly impossible without a line control pole. Please explain 'DRS'??
