I just purchased the Forespar HD 6-12 Whisker Pole. What is a good rule of thumb for the mounting heigth of a fixed ring on the mast? I hope to get this installed tomorrow. Thanks Ben Allen Montgomery, AL "Latte Dah" O 26

Do you have roller furling?

Ben, I have a track on the front of my mast, but I don't move the ring often. I set it to the same level the clew winds up at when the sail is rolled, and I find the everything balances nicely. Justin - O'day Owners' Web
