Which stanchions, where?

I need to replace stanchions for the lifelines on my Cat 27. Catalina direct offers straight ones, some angled 6 degrees in or out, and some angled 10 degrees in or out. I'm thinking the choice may make some difference to trimming a jenny close to the wind, and I know deck width is awkward between the cabin side and the lifelines. Any suggestions of the most satisfactory set of angled/straight stanchions?

Each goes to a specific location on the deck. It depends on the angle of the deck. I haven't done mine in a while. Check the angle of the stanchions you are replacing.

Here is her website where she changed the stanchions to make more room by angling them out more than the originals. They did a great refurb on their C-27 and I go there frequently for mod ideas.
