Need to buy a new solar panel.

Would like a flexible 12 volt, about 30 watt panel. Just want it to keep the batteries charged while we are away from the boat 1 to 2 weeks at a time.
We had a very old one that came with the boat and did the job nicely, but it finally succumbed to old age.

solar panel

I've bought two from emarine. The first one was truely flexible. It lasted 7-8 years. It was begining to came apart (was sewed to a vinyl backing and was separating) when some thieves ruined it while stealing my outboard, GPS, stereo . . . .

Now I've replaced it with this one:

I only have one battery. It keeps it topped off perfectly. Realized I had left the breaker switch to the stereo on for a few weeks but unit turned off. Turned unit on and no trouble, battery appeared fully charged. (no meter on the battery so who knows.) This one is NOT flexible but they cay can be walked on. But . . .

Mine sits on the cabin roof attached to the hand rails.

Good luck.

Mike
