1984 MacGregor 22, all new. Gusty lake. I'm looking for a roller furlilng system with the easiest install (in dry dock), preferably without swivel toggles. Practical Sailor had a great article on Alado Nautica. What advice does anyone have? Genoa or jib.

I like the CDI, I have had 3 different boats with one and they all worked great. I only installed one of them myself, took about 2 hours without lowering the mast. You can spend more if you want but I have found they work great especially on boats less than 30'. Look for the old owner review in Practical Sailor magazine.

CDI

I recently installed a CDI flex furler, and am very happy with it. Replaced an older CDI which was fine too, till the forestay broke. The flexi furler is easy to install, instructions are good, you can call CDI and talk to a real person, and you can get one right here on SBO.
