Got the Marinebeam bulbs in and installed the bow and stern lights.

Warm White for the bow, Cool White for the stern.

In the daylight they seemed pretty nice. Have a night trip in about two weeks. Admiral has agreed to be winched up to the top of the mast to replace the anchor light bulb (will be testing that in about 2 weeks as well). Will give another update then.

Please post pictures of the top of the mast replacement. I need to convince my admiral to do this. So far, she has only been high enough to replace the deck light.

Really pleased with the new lights. With the bow, stern and anchor lights on my Victron registers no amps out of the battery. Below is a picture with the white light near the top center being my anchor light with the new bow light below it. The Admiral went up (had to buy her ice cream at McDonalds for payback ;)). She said the cover was a bayonet type screw on, like the bulb itself). The other pictures are of the marina as she wanted some for the yacht club calendar.

OK, I'd like to replace the bow and stern lights with LEDs. However, I cannot figure out how to remove the lens to get at the bulbs. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Sorry about being so slow!

Wow, Talk about being slow, where are all our other 310 owners to answer this. I was gone cruising for a week and thought this would be answered by the time I got back. :naughty:

These are simple, on the bottom there is a square button; push it in and pull the lens cover directly out and you are all set. To re-install you just have to line it up and push it in. They can be a bit fussy, so don't be afraid to push (the button) and pull (the lens) a little hard.

Thanks for your reply. I tried pushing and pulling a few days back. Guess I didn't pull hard enough. Much appreciated!
