Which DaySailer (14'-16.5') no cabin?

Hoping for advice on getting daysailer for 3-4 people that I would be comfortable sending my 14 year old out in with a few buddies, or taking a few adults out on. Prefer to stay dry and the simpler the rigging/sailing the better. Want to be able to trailer easily. Have read owner reviews on following boats, but would consider your thoughts and boats I should research: Considering Capri 14.2(too small?,too tippy?), Capri 16.5 (hard to stay dry?), Hunter 15 (easy to right and "unsinkable"?, but poor mfg responsiveness?) or Precision 15 (have very little info on). Any info you can provide will be appreciated. Thanks

In my original question I referred to Hunter 15' as a boat I was considering. I meant Hunter model 146 Thanks Tom

Cape Cod Mercury

I had a Cape Cod Mercury (15'9")for several years. Fast, easy and very responsive. The boat has a round bottom, so is very "tender," but she has a fin keel so is virtually untippable. As an additional safety feature, the molded seats are sealed air tanks for flotation in the event of a knockdown. Mel
