On a bright warm Monday with a 10 knot breeze, just after a cold & rainy (crummy) weekend where my wife refused to go out, I got a call from my brother in law who wanted to go out for a sail.Within an hour after work, we were pulling away from the dock & heading out of the channel into Lake St Clair. When we cleared the last marker, it was time to raise the sails.I'll pause a moment here, an remind you of the gag where you ask someone what the time is, as he holds a beer in his left hand.If he turns his wrist, & dumps beer on himself, he's had too much. (cute right)So here we are, about to raise the sails, and my brother in law out on deck, calls out "where's the wind"? (I wish I had a film of this) I'm at the wheel, and standing with a large coffee in one of those "take away" cups with a peel back lid, being held in my teeth, as I steer the boat.So what would "anyone" do if they heard the words "where's the wind"?I looked up to the top of the mast, and was bathed in coffee! My brother in law nearly fell off the boat as he doubled over from laughing so hard.Today I'm going to buy drink holders!
