My job requires that I visit the home office in Budd Lake/ Mt. Olive New Jersey on a monthly basis. I am looking for sailing opportunities while I am in New Jersey. It looks like Lake Hopatcong may be my best bet for crewing on someone's sailboat.
Is anyone familiar with and can recommend a person/place/organization to contact where I could crew on someone's sailboat for races, regattas, and or personal/for fun sailing? Is Lake Hopatcong the best option for sailing- or is there another place to check out? Since I will be working during the day, I don't want to drive over 1 hour away- and of course closer is better.
