cruise ship? Hamilton marine sells galvanized wire rope in those sizes.

3/16" PVC Coated wire is 5/16" OD. Expect to pay $.75 - .85 per foot Loos has a $500 line item minimum, so the minimum order would be 666 ft if you get dealer pricing.

probably cheaper if you shop for complete units

Clif: You will probably save money by purchasing completed life lines. Lifelines should be made with a hydraulic press, not hand crimped. I got a quote from these guys Ballenger in Ca. and it was less money than purchasing the raw materials and messing with it myself.
