This video that is going around, and others like it, is being touted as two oceans meeting. Now, we know that not to be true, but unfortunately a lot of people actually believe that these are indeed two oceans meetings. From my understanding, this video is taken is Alaska and possibly what is seen is glacier run off. I don't know, but it sure isn't the Atlantic and the Pacific meeting.

Not as crazy as you might think. If you've been at Harpers Ferry, WV, where the blue Shenandoah River meets the brown Potomac River, you have the dirty water consuming the blue. Looks just like the OP. Also, after a big storm, the Susquehanna River that empties into the top of the Chesapeake Bay, a lot of sediment comes with it. Sediment from PA and NY. It looks like the brown in the OP. When the blue Chester River flows into the Bay, it is a very defined line, and the dirty water changes the blue to brown- like the OP.

The Nile is the same way. While doing work in Khartoum Sudan, one of the locals took me to a bridge where the Blue Nile and the White Nile meet. The White Nile was blue and the Blue Nile was brown. But it was still cool to see the two Niles. LOL

Pretty common around the west end of Montreal, where the Ottawa and St Lawrence meet. Some days the line is so well defined that a couple of inches take you from one to the other

Look at Google map shot of convergence of Rio Negro and Amazon. Sorry for the lame screen shot.
