looking for the VHF antenna, thought it was on top of the mast, but didn't find it up there, antenna cable go's that a way somewhere ?

you may be right, maybe it is gone, but I expected to find the base, cable, or something ? and the plug for the VHF radio was fried, so I rewired that and it comes on, but I didn't try to transmit with it, lighting strike I think.

I had a lightening strike and all that was left was a stub. But the cable and base were still there.
