Bilge on H23
If you lift the floor boards you will see a small depressed area around the stainless steel bolts that hold the keel to the hull. This small area is what I consider to be the bilge. I do not think there is any way to get a pump there. There are weep holes that connect all of them. I have often taken a spunge and filled 1/2 of a gallon ice cream bucket with water from the "bilge" on my H23. On my boat the rain enters through a crack in both windows. I also (idiotically) cracked the sliding plexiglass lid. My repair on all of these has not held through the summer and am planning the next attempt at repair/ replacement. If the rain water is coming in through the window or the lid, then the teak in that area will be slightly discolored. That may help in finding the leak.
