On my Hunter 45DS, I would like to access the motor of my Raymarine autopilot. Where the access ? to it and to the Witlock mecanics for rudder steering ?
Thanks
Henri

Should be directly under the cockpit floor, same as my 3004 Hunter 386, which I had to replace (Ouch!!) due to failed clutch 2 years ago. If yours is hydraulic, do you need to access the hydraulic reservoir?

If your boat is the 45 DS I know ~2006 and newer, and you have twin helms and your steering is Lewmar Mamba, you very likely have a Lewmar Mamba drive attached directly to your steering system below one of your helms. Location is below one of the helms, slightly lower than the level of the rudder steering tiller arm connected to each helm. Very nice setup.

I agree... phenomenal setup.
Motor simply bolts onto bevel gear box. Two bolts & you’re done.
now, this simplicity comes at a price. Like about $2500.
But it is undoubtably the best system on the market; bar none.
