Anyone else looking forward to MS's daily updates?

I will be leaving this Friday for a 2 week cruise but I doubt I will open the computer much, let alone getting online to send back photos. I hope to record my track so I can overlay onto Google earth when I get back.

The first leg is a 100nm overnight race to Northeast Harbor that some friends and I organized. The weather forecast looks great at this point and Friday night is the full moon.

We're in Long Cove on Vinalhaven Island right now. Just got back from some dingy gunkholing watching Loons, Eagles & Ospreys. Saw lots of porpoise and a Minke whale. Have not downloaded the camera cards into the computer yet...

Oh and a beautiful sail up from X-Mas cove today. It was blowing out of the N-NW and we were on a broad reach nearly the entire way on one tack. It was blowing well this morning, 18-22, but it died off as the day progressed to the point where I had to fire up the Japanese Genny to have enough control to miss the lobster pot buoys..

hey guys, Fair sailing! please keep up the reports, I promise that we'll try to do the same next year on the MHSA cruise. We were out there the first 2 weeks of August and had fantastic weather except for one day-tennants to stonington.

Looks like you guys are getting some cool air up there. I saw some frost advisories on the weather channel for up there (a little more inland though). Looking forward to some more Maine pics, they are beautiful.
