Hang ten

Hey! I know my seamanship. It's only bad form when you leave them hanging in the vertical position! :)

Invest in some fender "wells"...

Stainless racks that mount to rail stanchions. They come in single, double and triple models. (And Gary...one more powerboat crack, and I'll clog up your toilet! <g>)

Pwggy!!!!?

A stinkpotter? My condolences. Just remember, medical science has been making tremendous advanaces, there may be a cure for your affliction, so don't lose hope. [Hang on to your macerator, I've got a portapotty. How about a race to Hawaii, no refueling.] JIm Kolstoe h23 Kara's Boo

I'll race you to Hawaii...

747s have no trouble making it without refueling. :) I do have socially redeeming qualities, btw...I'm the race the committee chairman for my YC..."Solitaire" spends more time sitting on an anchor as RC boat than she does making wake.

Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!

Peggie, No disrespect intended. I know, stinkpotters are people too.....I spent alot of time on power boats when I was younger. George, Having grown up in So. Cal, I should have known better......too many years on power boats when I was younger, ya know ; )

Gee George, just go ahead and say it....

"Some of my best friends are stink potters" or "Oh, my maid is a stinkpotter!".

Sit on it!

We shove 'em in the lazarette under the helmsperson's seat. Out of the way and the h-person can get them out in a hurry. Just have to be careful to make sure the lines don't tangle into rudder quadrant.

Don't feel bad George,

My father won't go near my boat because it's F/G. I've skiped all the explitives he puts in front of fiberglass.

On an H23...

The best place on the H23 to store fenders is in that MASSIVE lazerette. To make fender stowage a little nicer, I also added a line hanging rack inside the lazarette when I replaced the rub rail on my boat; Now, the fenders and spare dock lines hang up along the inside of the hull, out of the way, and easy to get to in an emergency. I'll post pictures later this week, for those that are interested... And if anyone is interested in how it was installed, I can post detailed instructions. --Jon Bastien H23 '2 Sheets to the Wind'
