Where do I find...

I just bought my first Hunter (1982) today and it needs some work. I would like to replace the windows, not the ports, but I don't know where to find them. I aslo need to replace the knobs that lock them down. I need new cushion covers, and possibly some new cushions. Where do I look? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I Bought a 1982 Hunter 30 last August, and am slowly working through the to do list. I have been thoroughly enjoying it, (when I don't think about the money I am in debt for.) I wish the same joy for you. I asked the same question about the opening ports (windows) last year. There are a lot of helpful people on this site. I am almost finished restoring all of my ports. Finding Portlights & cushion covers

Check Sailnet for prices. I just took a look at Pompanette & their prices are higher. I think they are having a spring sale right now. As for the cushions, Sailnet has several custom shops & I think one of them might be for cushion covers. You could also check with local upholstery business. If you're talking interior cushions you can use any fabric that is totally synthetic such as olefin & polyester. You don't have to use expensive marine fabrics in the cabin. Just avoid anything with natural content as it will mildew. Good luck.
