New Shroud Line
Your should consider making one yourself. Buy the wire to whatever length you need then get swageless fittings through West or any other marine source (they are in the catalogs) and get the end fittings you need also which just screw onto the swageless fittings. I assume your complaint about West was trying to get them to make a new shroud for you from their advertised swaging service? The advantage to the above is the fittings are as strong as the wire, and you can do it yourself. In the meantime try using a kevlar line or jury rig a shroud to keep you going. Keep in mind in the old days they didn't have cable and wire, they only had rope and it worked fine.
