Where can I find the serial number

I have recently bought an O'day 25. But I can'y find the serialnumber. Where van I find it on the boat and how will I know in what year the boat is built?

When you find the number, "XDY" is O'Day's code for Hull Numbers. The last four digits are coded one of two ways. The last two digits are the year it was built, and the two before that would be the month, if numbers, like mine. If it includes letters, ask here again, and someone may know...
