I want to replace the faucets at the galley sink, the vanity, and the shower on my 1983 H34. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I may be able o purchase thse? Thanks.
Hey Joe:I just replaced my faucet on my H'31 this year. I got a small bar faucet from Moen. It was a 10 min. replacement. Very easy replacment and works better than those crappy marine ones too. I think it was about $30-35. Just look for a faucet with 4" centers.
After I found out how much a Grohe replacement costs, I went to Home Depot too. I replaced mine with one with the combination with the spray nozzle (sp). I haven't regreted it. It also helps conserve water.
I had luck buying light fixtures for the boat thru Campingworld.com The problem now is that you'll NEVER get off of their mailing list.I got the same fixtures as aboating catalog for 25% less.http://www.campingworld.com
If your boat is fairly old, like mine, you can probably get new faucets at the local hardware store. I couldn't see paying $50.00 for a new faucet when I put pressurized water in my Hunter 25.5, so I got a little "bar faucet" from Ace Hardware for $19.00. Works great. It's plastic, so it won't rust. If it breaks, I'll just spend another $19 and buy another.
