Anyone know where/how to determine if our Bene 35s5 was built in France or in the US? Is there a hint in the HIN?

Past discussions haven’t been fruitful in finding any reliable hints in the HIN unfortunately. For example - Decoding Beneteau Hull number (HIN)
Yeah... can't find a definitive answer yet, I'd thought they were not US built but a friend has a 32s5 with docs stating that it was built in the states. so now I wonder...
Do you not have a buiders plate in cockpit ? Every Beneteaus made in the US I've seen has a builders plate along with serial # stamped into hull starboard rear. My buddies first no plate and the turnbuckles are opposite thread made in France. I've read 15 digits french , 12 digits US also BEY US
