Also, more often than not, topics are not really model-specific. So, don't worry - you're not alone. Besides, you might be more right than you think about being out sailing. Big enough to entertain and go long distances, small enough to single-hand. I go out for evening cruises 2-3 times a week and extended sailing on the weekend. I think the 29.5 is just the right size to maximize usage. Of course, I hope everybody thinks the same about their own boats, whatever the size.

Gene is right about the 29.5 being "Big enough to entertain and go long distances, small enough to single-hand" It is excellent for cruising with the small family. Now I think no matter what the prop size, whether you have autohelm, or whether you have the bimini in the middle, aft, or even forward-its Labor Day Weekend-time to go sailin'!
