28 ft out island wheel steering ?
The only 28 o/is that have wheel sterring have been converted from tiller stearing.Don't know who you contacted as manfacture .Catalina now owne and operate the morgan boatworks at largo fl.Was able to obtaine what they had left of the 28 o/i manual.Best place for parts info is here on the web.I have the sail plan for mine and will ground mail you a set for $10.00. Good luck with your search,the boat is worth the effort
