slipped off or what?
dfinan:There are three, that I know of, points the cable could slip from:1. The chain on the top at the top of the wheel axle in the binnacle.2. The cable sheeve guides attached below deck beneath the binnacle.3. The quadrant where the cables cross each other at the rudder stock.Where did it slip from? In any case there are turnbuckles at the quadrant and if nothing is broken then these can be detached or backed off and the cable re-routed into the correct guide paths. It's not a complex job. However the space in which you'll be working is quite tight and there is a fair amount of grease on everything. Make sure that the rudder is centered, and the quadrant isn't loose or you'll loose your frame of reference for system centricity.Good luck,Mike
