I know I have been at at least 45 Deg numerous times. But only with the Genoa and main up. This has only had one consequence, which is my grinder getting his toes wet... But we always laugh about it, but my Dad gets pretty worked up. But then we start feeding him Rye, and he's OK!!!!

Great video...Thanks for sharing. Sort of makes me question as to whether or not I want a spinnaker. As newbie's, we have only seen about 40 degrees (this past weekend). Starboard quartering sea, 3-5' with an occasional rogue 6'er. We caught a gust and rogue wave that was rolling and we rounded up and heeled over. Since it was our first...it was very unnerving... But...all is good. ...Now back to the real gut-wrenching stories! :)

That video is great. I would be a mess! My worst was with very little experience and on my first boat. I got the sails up and turned to raise the motor and the main ripped along the lower 1/3 and the boat turned so hard into the wind that I thought I was going over. But it rounded up. What a mess. Scared me to no end.
